The Story Of Dream & Reality

One day, there was a man whose name was 'dream'. He lived in a small village called the 'Heart'. Heart was a beautiful village. Small houses, lush paddy fields, shining riverside and majestic mountains in the backdrop with a golden sunshine - the heart was a place everyone would ever love to live.
Dream had a friend called 'Reality'. He lived in the neighboring village named 'Mind'.Mind was a wrecked village. There was always scarcity of water and food, and barren lands. Anything planted here would die. The people here stayed unhappy. Reality always thought about a place where he could go to, where he could find something better than his present.
Dream on the other hand was a happy-go-lucky guy. He enjoyed wandering through the village, play in the paddy fields, run after the birds, and climb up the hills. He always wondered how the world outside his village would look like. One day, he wanted to set his foot outside his village and explore the world.
So, one day, Reality and Dream set out from their respective villages, each looking for their set of answers. They kept walking until their villages disappeared behind them. They walked far enough, until they reached a riverside.

There was something pleasant about this place. Crystal clear water, reflecting the alpine forest in the background, and the burbles of flowing water. Reality was awestruck with this beauty. How had he imagined about such a place. But then he became worried about the things back home. He was so consumed by the misery of his village that all he could imagine is another wretched surrounding even in the midst of such phenomenal beauty.
As he started to think of it, the grass where he sat, began to dry up. The water on his side of the river started to evaporate and the trees behind him began to shed their leaves. Reality said to himself- didn't I said this will happen. His head dropped in dismay.
Everything around him started to lose its charm rapidly. There was nothing Reality could do about it. Just when Reality had given all hopes, on the other side of the river. he saw someone standing under the shadows of the tree. As he stood there, Reality noticed that the trees around him which earlier had started to shed leaves began to go green again, The dead grass under his feet came to life. Who was he?
The man on the other bank of the river came out of the shadows and moved to the edge of the river. The water that had dried up earlier started to fill up the river again. Reality tried to focus more on the other guy. He saw that this stranger was happy, he was smiling and joyful. the more he smiled, the more the things around him became livelier.
This smiling man suddenly stopped to notice Reality on the other side of the river. This was Dream who was rejoiced with the spectacular view of nature. He was happy with the abundant waters, the enthralling beauty of the space and it was as if his belief about the world outside had turned out to be true.
But on the other side, he saw that the leaves were dry and this man seemed unhappy about everything. He sat on dead grass, and the trees behind him had turned dry. No matter how beautiful Dream could see, there was something around Reality that was wrong.
Dream decided to walk across the water and meet this man. He introduced himself to Reality and asked him - what keeps you unhappy? Reality replied,"Everything around me seems to die. Back in my village, nothing grows. the water is always scarce, people always sick, and weather always cold and dry. We wish there could be something that could make things better.

Dream decided to walk with Reality to his village. Reality took him to his village. all the way, he told all about things that never let the 'Mind' village grow. Dream listened in silence. Back in his village, people knew how to nourish the soil, preserve water, and nurture the growing seeds. They knew about the rules of nature; rules that kept life force in sync with nature.

Dream was always filled with vigor and hope. Nothing around him made him changed his views about his belief. His faith in this thought was unshakable.

After walking for some time, Dream was now in the 'Mind' village. He looked around and noticed the despair and hopelessness. There was no iota of doubt that Mind had long lost the sync with nature. The Mind needed a 'way' to get in sync with the nature's rules.

Dream asked Reality if he would do as Dream asked him to do. Reality agreed. Dream joined hands with Reality and uprooted all the weeds and the dead grass from the soil. Dream then plowed the soil for days together and Reality followed and did exactly what Dream asked him to do. After few months, when they had sprinkled the seeds on the soil, the rains poured.

The trees with the dry leaves which had never seen a green leaf started to get alive again. Reality was awestruck again. The seeds gradually started to come out the soil. Within days, the paddy fields went green again. Reality could not believe his eyes. What he was looking for was actually where he had been living for long.

Even Dream realized that there must be more villages like Mind, which need to change and become like Heart. Dream now had a stronger reason to travel the world - to give hope and happiness to more people like Reality, who have given up hopes with their homes called Mind.

So  Dream asked Reality - Will you join me on my journey to make some more 'Minds' fertile and prosperous? Without a second thought, Reality said - Yes!

And then they walked together, to make more Minds like the Heart!

Faith Vs Doubt

Faith vs Doubt! It is like an electric meter. How an electric pulse moves the needle and stops as the pulse stops. A faith pulls up a human mind and doubt pulls it back.

The Power Of Being 'Effortless'

There is a rose bushel in the garden outside my house. This morning, I am getting ready for my daily walk. While I am trying to put on my shoes, I notice a small rose bud coming out of it. It is a grafted breed, a combination of yellow and red. The tiny petals sneak out of the bud with a smile of hope. The next day, I am off for the routine runs again, and I notice, this time, the bud has sprouted open. More petals are visible now, and the distinct shades of red and yellow are visible. This flower is going to bloom into something beautiful. Day-3, now I am super excited and waiting for the morning, to see how it evolved overnight. All through the process, I find, it is so "not-struggling". There is a 'flow' in the pattern. The change is not a forceful one, yet, it is remarkably quick. Day-4, and the rose bud is now fully blossomed into a beautiful flower. The bud walked through the nature's resistance yet, nothing was ever visible. Now, the rose smel

When Everyone Says No

There isn't a day that we start without listening to a No. Did I actually start this post with a negative sentence? Sure I did! From the day we start our lives to the time we reach our deathbed, there are so many instances when we get a No in our lives. So much so, that we ourselves start believing that the actually the answer to our an question in life is a No. But does a No really mean the end of a dark tunnel? Or there is some way we can make it a Yes. NO has several meanings. NO does not mean life is over. NO does not mean end of hope. It might simply mean Not Now. It might simply mean you are not worthy of it yet! Or it might mean that you have not failed enough to succeed it. Sometimes, No can be a new beginning - A 'New Opportunity'.    Sometimes, No can be a delay to something bigger. It means you do not deserve to get something this small that you are aiming for right now! Universe has bigger plans for you. There are infinite stones in the way of
